German Kaiser Wilhelm I Centennial Medal – 1897 Commemorative

This is a reproduction of the Kaiser Wilhelm I Centennial Medal, originally struck in 1897 to commemorate the 100th birthday of Emperor Wilhelm I (1797–1888), the first Kaiser of unified Germany and King of Prussia. The original medals were widely distributed across the German Empire.
